Principal

Ms. Imislawa Bugeja arrived at ISOB in November 2011 to head the Non-public General Education School Complex of Kazimierz Wielki University in Bydgoszcz Gen. Ryszard Kuklinski International School of Bydgoszcz.

She has a MA in Law Studies and European Law with Public Finances from the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun and a Postgraduate Diploma in Management in Education. She is also trained in Managing Conflicts and Urban Development in Multiethnic Communities from Open Society Institute , Global Education from the Network University and in E-Governance from United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UN).

She is a strong believer in equal rights for all communities and nationalities regardless of race, religion or believes. She fervently advocates for raising the multicultural awareness of children.

She is a Vice President of the Governing Board of The Association of Local Democracy Agencies of the Council of Europe (ALDA), organization dedicated to the promotion of good governance and citizen participation at the local level. ALDA in particular focuses on activities that facilitate cooperation between local authorities and civil society. In 2012 ISOB joined ALDA and has become recognized since as a unique place for education and development of global aspects such as human rights and children rights, gender issues, democracy and civic participation.

She is fluent in English and communicates in Spanish and Serbian.
