Current Project: “The Student in the Spotlight”
KA1 – Learning Mobility of Individuals (Short-term projects for schools)
We are thrilled to share that the International School of Bydgoszcz has been awarded a significant grant for our latest educational initiative. This project is a cornerstone of our commitment to evolving as a modern, student-centered institution.
Project Overview
- Project Title: Uczeń w centrum uwagi (The Student in the Spotlight)
- Action Type: KA122-SCH – Short-term projects for mobility of learners and staff
- Funding Source: Co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union
Our Mission: Putting the Student First
The title “The Student in the Spotlight” reflects our core philosophy. This project is designed to shift the educational focus from traditional teaching to a more personalized, inclusive, and technologically advanced learning experience.
Through this funding, ISOB will implement:
- Staff Mobility & Professional Training: Our educators will travel to partner institutions across Europe to master innovative teaching methods, focusing on inclusive education and the needs of our diverse student body.
- Enhanced Inclusion Strategies: Developing better tools to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and ensuring every child—regardless of their background or learning profile—is at the “center” of our pedagogical attention.
- Linguistic Growth: Strengthening the quality of our English-taught curriculum by immersing our non-native teachers in high-level academic environments abroad.
- Technological Integration: Training our team to use ICT and AI tools not just as “extras,” but as essential components of a modern, engaging classroom.
What this means for our students
The grant is a direct investment in our students’ future. By upgrading our teachers’ skills and bringing European “best practices” back to Bydgoszcz, we ensure that ISOB provides an environment where every student feels seen, supported, and prepared for the challenges of the 21st century.
