Erasmus+ Intensive Spanish Course in Malaga

Participation in the Spanish language course within the Erasmus+ programme for teachers was an enriching and highly motivating experience that brought significant benefits to both my personal and professional development. The intensive programme included 20 interactive Spanish lessons per week combined with 5 additional conversation classes, creating a dynamic and stimulating learning environment based on a variety of teaching methods and practical activities.
An especially valuable part of the course was the opportunity to take extra one-to-one classes, which allowed me to focus on my individual language needs, improve my fluency, and gain greater confidence in speaking Spanish in professional and everyday situations. This personalized approach significantly accelerated my progress and helped me improve my Spanish level quickly and effectively.
Thanks to the knowledge and confidence gained during the course, I can now actively cooperate and exchange ideas, teaching methods, and educational experiences with teachers from Spain working in our institution. This has strengthened international collaboration in our school and created new opportunities for professional growth.
The programme also inspired me to share my passion for Spanish culture with others. As a flamenco enthusiast, I prepared and animated in PYP classes the talks and presentations about flamenco, Andalusian traditions, and the concept of duende – the emotional and artistic essence that makes this art form unique. In this way, I combine language learning with cultural education and promote openness to European diversity within our school community.
