Workshops at Collegium Medicum

On February 17, DP students of class Grade 11 of International School of Bydgoszcz took part in Practical workshops for high school students organized by the Faculty of Pharmacy, Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, Collegium Medicum im. L. Rydygier in Bydgoszcz.

These workshops were under the patronage of the Mayor of Bydgoszcz, Mr. Rafał Bruski. The meeting was started by Prof. dr hab. Stefan Kruszewski, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Collegium Medicum, who presented the educational offer of the Faculty of Pharmacy to young people and noted that in the Perspektywy ranking, the courses of the Faculty of Pharmacy received the highest scores in the criterion “economic fate of graduates”.

Our students participated in very interesting practical workshop: How does a modern medical laboratory work? During these workshop, they had the opportunity to practice blood sampling on a phantom and analyze blood counts.

The second workshop was entitled: Electrical bioimpedance, or how to improve academic performance by changing body composition. Here, like real students of the Faculty of Pharmacy, they measured various parameters of the human body. Participation in the Workshop will surely remain in the memory of our students for a long time.
